Esso Refinery - Fawley - Southampton - Hampshire - SO45 1TX - United Kingdom (32 components)
• TG1B is part of the aggregated CMU EMD-20, which is made up of 2 Generating Units of which TG1B is the larger. This Generating Unit is embedded in the 'E_FAWND' BMU and is part of the larger site inclusive BM Trading Unit, 'EPCO1'. All Components of 'EMD-20' are located within the physical boundaries of the Esso Petroleum Company,Limited Oil Refinery at Esso Refinery - Fawley - Southampton - Hampshire - SO45 1TX - United Kingdom. TG1B is one of three power generation units on the site and is a Steam Turbine plant. It is connected to the Local Distribution Network (LDN) at 132kV level at the Fawley North Sub-Station (part of MSID 7095). Both Unit 3 and TG1B units share various auxiliary load equipment- the power for which is supplied from another part of the LDN Fawley North Sub-Station. Installation of separate metering for the auxiliary power for both TG1B and Unit 3 has been completed providing half hourly meters for the auxiliary load for the two units. Due to the large amount of common equipment shared by the two generation units (TG1B and Unit 3) we are unable to determine exactly what part of the auxiliary load is directly attributable to TG1B and thus for this CMU we have attributed the auxiliary load between the two. The auxiliary meters for Unit 3 and TG1B combined are: TR1MWI_MAIN, TR2MWI_MAIN and 26AMWI_MAIN. This entire metering configuration has been successfully assessed and tested. To clarify the 3 units within the refinery boundary, they are Unit 5 (EMG-20) and TG1B and Unit 3 (which make up EMD-20). Gross 3 HH av. peak generation from TG1B on separate days = 49.863 MW At these three HH times, aux load on TG1B = -1.468 MW Net generation from TG1B = 48.394 MW The 48.394MW described above is the historical proven capacity. However, based on the planned future availability of this unit, we wish to submit a conservative 18MW connection capacity. To clarify the numbers provided in the application page are in half hourly periods, as the units specified were MWh and therefore reporting half hourly period was required.

(NB. the rest of MSID 7095 is made up of one of our other components of our CMU i.e. TG1B).
