• The CMU at the Heathfield Landfill site in Devon will be made up of three reciprocating engines generating from natural gas. In their current state, these engines have been designed to generate from landfill gas, but will be converted to natural gas and then recommissioned, ahead of the delivery year. The three components of the CMU (referenced VIR074, VIR079 and VIR080) are Cummins QSV91 units, built in 2008 and rated at 1,750kW. Each engine generates at 415V, which is then stepped up to 11kV and then to 33kV for export.
