• An Energy from Waste facility located in Cheshire. The Facility will utilise conventional mass burn technology which is the most proven Energy from Waste technology currently available. The process will consist of the delivery of waste to the Facility by truck where it will be deposited in a storage bunker, from which it will be fed into two thermal units. Each unit will consist of a moving grate, boiler and air pollution control equipment. The steam generated will drive a turbine for the generation of electricity.
• The CMU is belonging to the hydro-electric power scheme ?Rheidol? close to Aberystwyth ? Ceredigion - mid-Wales. The respective CMU is situated at the Cwm Rheidol Power Station (being one out of two) which is supplied by water from the Dinas Reservoir.
